Project Summary

Philadelphia’s SMART grant project will establish a high-resolution and up-to-date digital twin of the right-of-way (ROW) and will use this dataset in conjunction with Application Program Interfaces (APIs) based upon OMF’s Curb Data Specification to provide ROW managers and ROW users with real-time data. The City will test this new, holistic dataset and set of integrated systems through an intuitive road closure permitting application, roadside Digital Signages displaying curb policies in real-time, and integrated Transit Signal Priority enhancements and Traffic Controller upgrades.
